Help us to improve Roadworks in Kent
Navigation Summary of Responses
Man with signThis is a summary of the responses that we have received so far:

When you're travelling through roadworks in Kent;

  • 94% of you would like to see a sign on the road before the roadworks start ………………. but only 28% have seen them!

  • you'd like to see a sign about two weeks to one month before roadworks start and the information you want on the sign is; the start and end date, the reason for the works and who to contact if you have a problem.

  • to improve your journey through the roadworks you'd like: manual control of traffic lights at peak times, alternative routes signed, longer working hours and traffic lights only at non-peak times.

  • 85% of you thought the route through roadworks sites was easy to follow………. but only 48% of you said the queues were fair and 44% that the delays were reasonable.

  • 77% of you thought the repairs were completed well.
